I'm still sick, but enjoying this awesome weekend

I don't know what is with me lately! All these updates... geesh.

Yesterday was so great! Mamma came up to have lunch with me. We ate at Fiesta. Actually, my mom is in search of some good Mexican food. So far, she has not found any. It's just that her standards are rather high considering that she lived in Mexico and New Mexico when she was right out of college (actually, random fact: my bro was born on an Indian reservation in NM). I always ask her to find me something I would like (since she knows what the stuff really is). Anyway, we sat there for over three hours! Then we came back to my apt. and then ended up talking another hour (or two) in the parking lot.

Last night, Aron, Kristina, and I spent the evening together. We watched some old "home" videos (that we have made last year) and then a chick flick.

I was so glad to be back at West Side this morning. I have missed it! Penny brought Justin, which was cool because I have been telling him a lot about it (and he rubs his hands together like Pastor Kevin does). There's a guy named Matt at church. I think he's cute (he reminds me of a teddy bear), and thought there might be some potential there (when I first met him about 2 months ago). Anyway, it was humbling when he asked me what my name was this morning - apparently I didn't make much of an impact on him. But that's okay, cuz my sights are set elsewhere ;)

After church Penny, Justin, Steve, and I went to lunch. On our way there, we met up with Drew as he was coming back from church. So Drew, Justin, Penny, and I ate together. Drew and I were perfectly matching (besides that our shoes were different colors)... it was kinda freaky (but in a good way).

It has been such a nice, peaceful weekend! I needed it after the past three chaotic ones.

P.S. The heat won't turn on in my apartment :( You know it's cold in here when I actually attempted to turn on the heat. When the girls get back they are turn into popsicles!
